Asian Paints SmartCare Damp Proof in Grey, supplied in a 4 litre container, is a water-based, fibre-reinforced elastomeric acrylic waterproofing coating. It cures into a continuous membrane for compatible concrete and masonry surfaces, including roofs, terraces, parapets, sunshades and exterior vertical walls. The recommended horizontal system uses a diluted self-priming coat followed by two waterproofing coats. Vertical applications use the specified Damp Proof system with a compatible exterior topcoat. Recommended system coverage is approximately 0.93 square metres per litre on horizontal surfaces and 2.32 square metres per litre for fresh vertical work. Prepare sound substrates, repair cracks and ensure drainage before application. Drying and recoating are typically 4-6 hours under the stated conditions.
