Product details

Asian Paints SmartCare Damp Proof in White, supplied in a 10 litre container, is a water-based, fibre-reinforced elastomeric acrylic waterproofing coating. It cures into a continuous membrane for compatible concrete and masonry surfaces, including roofs, terraces, parapets, sunshades and exterior vertical walls. The recommended horizontal system uses a diluted self-priming coat followed by two waterproofing coats. Vertical applications use the specified Damp Proof system with a compatible exterior topcoat. Recommended system coverage is approximately 0.93 square metres per litre on horizontal surfaces and 2.32 square metres per litre for fresh vertical work. Prepare sound substrates, repair cracks and ensure drainage before application. Drying and recoating are typically 4-6 hours under the stated conditions. Follow the current technical sheet for surface preparation, forced coverage and coat intervals. The manufacturer identifies the White shade for terrace heat reflectance, with up to 10 degrees C surface-temperature reduction under its stated test conditions.
